Every breath, a blessing, supports Iris's journey from survival to strength.
Our daughter Iris is the youngest child in our family. She was born after a difficult delivery and suffered birth asphyxia, a condition caused by lack of oxygen at birth. She spent more than 8 days in the NICU, fighting for her life, and eventually started to breathe on her own.
Sadly, the lack of oxygen caused long-term effects. Today, Iris is living with cerebral palsy and requires continuous therapy and special equipment to support her growth and independence. She attends physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy sessions.
She needs braces, corsets, and mobility aids to help her stand, move, and develop.
The financial cost of this care is very high, and as a family, we are doing everything possible to give Iris the best chance.
